According to today's online edition of Sol.pt the Supreme Court of Justice has turned down the McCanns' appeal against the lifting of the ban on Gonçalo Amaral's book 'A Verdade da Mentira,' by the lower court.
The McCanns' lawyer, Isabel Duarte, must now return all copies of Amaral's book, which were seized following the original order to ban the book.
Contacted by Sol, Isabel Duarte refused to comment on the ruling.

Has anyone ever heard the phrase "innocent until PROVEN guilty in a COURT OF LAW"? NOT in the court of public opinion, not on the Internet blogs, but in a court of LAW? What proof is there that the McCanns killed their daughter? What proof is there that Madeleine's even dead? Until someone finds her body she is still a missing child. As far as I know the McCanns have never been charged with anything, & until they confess to killing their daughter or someone proves that they killed her, the only thing they should be charged with is child endangerment. People who make fun of the McCanns should be ashamed of themselves.

Interesting phrase from rather enraged poster No: 3. No one has ever suggested the McCanns killed their child, so why on earth would they make such a confession? This is the second time in as many days those who support the McCanns have spoken of Madeleines murder and her parents causing her death.
GA has always said he believes a domestic accident. The missing blue bag ? Gerry McCann has not mentioned this bag nor questioned about it in TV interviews, or denied he owned such a bag ,his mouthpiece Mitchell has denied the bag existed. I would imagine there is footage ,or if not CCTV footage, signed statements from witnesses who saw Gerry with this bag, so technically Gerry has not lied.
Haleigh Cummings, claimed by family members to have been abducted from her bed. I would like to ask any American, had cadaver dogs entered Haleighs home and picked up on as many items as the dogs did on all things McCann, even without Haleighs body, which is still missing would they believe Haleigh was dead ? The police by the way are looking for a dead Haleigh , the abduction was never believed.
Yes innocent until proven guilty. But why would parents lie and say they have answered all questions when 48 remain unanswered, why would innocent parents refuse a reconstruction? Why would parents stifle a book that gives a version of the investigation when they only wish their 'version' to be believed? Why make the world believe the 'Fund' is used to search for Madeleine when in reality it is used to pay legal bills. Innocent until proven guilty does not mean quite the same thing when it comes to the McCanns.The McCanns have already broken the law so for them this luxury does not apply.
